Shower Cakes

My sister, Lisa, found the idea of making Shower Cakes. Of course, she decided to try the idea and it worked wonderfully! The cakes she makes are beautiful! I've made a few in the past couple years and I've been quite impressed with them.... Yesterday, a friend of mine had a bridal shower. My mom and I went back and forth on what to get her because her registry was completely purchased! We decided a while back that we'd make the cake so now we just had to figure out what to put in it! I remembered that I had this "story" from a few years ago which you buy household cleaning products and work them into the story (ie: Now you will Pledge your love; He may not exactly be Mr. Clean...) There are thirteen items in all (Zest, All, Bounce, and Shout are some of the others) It was perfect!

Cornhole Boards

Kevin and I enjoy being crafty together (most of the time...). Well, when we started dating, his family taught me how to play Cornhole (for description and rules, click here). We thought, 'we could make this game!' ...so we did! We made a set for ourselves, his parents, and most recently, a set for Jenny and Greg. We create everything ourselves: custom bag colors (if Joann's has that color of duck cloth), custom painting (freehand, might I add...), etc. We buy everything and make it all!
