Senior Pictures

Well... I ordered about 7/8 of Nikki's pictures! We only have the yearbook picture to go (and that's only because I have to photoshop a background in on that one...). I ended up ordering a photo book with about 25 pictures in it as well as 72 wallets (to start with). We may end up having to order more but here are a few we do have:

It was so much fun doing these!! Can't wait for Kyle's and Dustin's! :)

Duck Cookies

Jamie asked if I'd make some duck cookies for her friend's baby shower. Of course, I told her 'yes!'. I think they turned out nice. Take a look:

I only baked and iced the cookies.; I did not have anything to do with assembly of the final favor... The finished favor:

Nikki's Outdoor Pictures

I'm back already! I don't know what has gotten into me; posting two days in a row!

Today I took the outdoor pictures of Nikki's (my niece) senior pictures. I uploaded them to Flickr and would like to share them with you. I haven't yet done any Photoshop touch-ups or editing. I can't wait for that part though!

Sneak Peek

Sorry I haven't posted lately. I have been very busy! I've been working on a few projects and have a few to come: senior pictures (for my brother, niece, and nephew), window painting, baby shower cookie painting, signs & posters, and of course a little creative wedding planning here and there. I decided to post a little sneak peek of a couple projects that are finished and will be posted soon (I still have to take more pictures...).

Enjoy :)

Check back soon! Have a wonderful day!

Rachel Noelle

In April, the girls from work and I threw a baby shower for our friend, Jamie. Well, she finally had her baby girl, Rachel, on June 25! She is adorable!

Meet Rachel Noelle:

My gift to Jamie was a cake. This cake was made similarly to the other on my blog, but with baby girl scrapbooking paper instead of bridal paper. I filled these boxes with baby products and a few items from the registry. I don't have final pictures (of the cake packaged) but it was cute! I matched the paper/stickers with the room's color scheme. Here are pictures of the boxes in Rachel's room (and a glimpse of her room also):

Oh, also... we just got our pool filled today :) Maybe this weekend I will enjoy some frozen drinks in the pool as I lay in the beautiful water! Have a great rest of the week!

Shower Cakes

My sister, Lisa, found the idea of making Shower Cakes. Of course, she decided to try the idea and it worked wonderfully! The cakes she makes are beautiful! I've made a few in the past couple years and I've been quite impressed with them.... Yesterday, a friend of mine had a bridal shower. My mom and I went back and forth on what to get her because her registry was completely purchased! We decided a while back that we'd make the cake so now we just had to figure out what to put in it! I remembered that I had this "story" from a few years ago which you buy household cleaning products and work them into the story (ie: Now you will Pledge your love; He may not exactly be Mr. Clean...) There are thirteen items in all (Zest, All, Bounce, and Shout are some of the others) It was perfect!

Here are some pictures of the cake (her colors are sage/ivory) and everything wrapped:

Everyone at the shower loved it!! **Email for the story**

Have a bright and sunny day :)

Cornhole Boards

Kevin and I enjoy being crafty together (most of the time...). Well, when we started dating, his family taught me how to play Cornhole (for description and rules, click here). We thought, 'we could make this game!' ...so we did! We made a set for ourselves, his parents, and most recently, a set for Jenny and Greg. We create everything ourselves: custom bag colors (if Joann's has that color of duck cloth), custom painting (freehand, might I add...), etc. We buy everything and make it all! Here are some pictures of the ones we made for Jenny & Greg...

Maybe someday, I will get around to posting pictures of ours and his parents!

...Waiting for Friday when it's 92* and sunny :) Have a happy day!
